Inspired by a chapter from Tuntematon Sotilas by Väinö Linna.

Thank you very MUCH!!! Finnish were good soldiers, bravery is individual, I believe there were brave Soviet soldiers also ;) There were also many brave French and Italians although their success in WW2 is anything but existing.

Yeah, PPSh-41 with the drum is what I'd opt for in fighting in a trench filled with Finns, so I don't have to duck around cover to reload and take a puukko to the face while I'm in the process of that. The Germans feared the Russians for their prowess at close quarters battle, and the Russians had a healthy respect for the Finn's ability to get the job done with shovels, rifle stocks, and knives.
