Finnish sissi group has just started their long-range patrol (kaukopartio), during Continuation War 1941-44. Their transport (Heinkel He 115) is seen flying back home, after landing the troops deep behind the Soviet lines.
Finnish term sissi, "guerilla", is bit misleading. These troops were not irregular guerrilla or militia forces, but part of the Finnish regular Army trained for operations behind enemy lines, for more information click here.
