His warpath made him a feared jäger captain in the Finnish Army, Hauptsturmführer in the Waffen-SS and a major in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He went missing in action in Laos 1965. His remains were found in 1999 and formally identified in 2003 and buried at Arlington National Cemetery. |
